He is a doctor, she is a nurse, and they met while caring for the same patient. Seriously…is that not the most amazing love story ever? Kristen didn’t think Will had noticed her, but he had. Every morning Will would go out of his way to walk through Kristen’s ward, looking for the pretty girl with the long brown hair and a smile that could knock you off your feet. Kristen was hiding, secretly watching him pass by. 🙂 She liked him, but couldn’t figure out the best way to say hello.
Fate stepped in, and soon Will and Kristen were assigned to care for the same patient! They instantly hit it off, both realizing quickly they had something special. When their patient was released, another nurse came up to Will, handing him Kristen’s phone number. Call her, she had urged (loving her role as match maker)…and he did!
It wasn’t long before Will was down on one knee, proposing to Kristen with a ring hidden in a handmade sandcastle in Miami! They are getting married next August and couldn’t be more excited! On Saturday I had the pleasure of walking around New York City with Kristen and Will, capturing photographs of this adorable couple in Grand Central and Central Park. Enjoy a few of my favorites from the day below!

Grand Central is a GORGEOUS location for photographs, but it is always filled with thousands of people! I wanted it to look like Kristen and Will were the only ones there.

On a date early in their relationship, Will took Kristen to Grand Central, explaining he wanted one of their first kisses to be “under the stars”.

Seriously…how romantic!

After Grand Central, we headed up to Central Park where Kristen and Will danced on one of my favorite bridges in all of NYC, Bow Bridge!

LOVE.

Kristen and Will are always laughing together! The love they have for life and each other is really inspiring!

These are great pictures! Such a stylish bride to be!
Amy,
A beautiful love story and amazing pictures. You did a great job of isolating Will and Kristen in Grand Central Station. Not sure how you managed that feat! The colors and depth are really great as illustrated by the photo of the flower in the foreground and the tunnel in the background. I like the b&w photo in Grand Central, especially the look on Will’s face and the casual look on Kristen’s face. Very creative. My favorite is the door frame photo. The symmetry of the door frame and the light streaming in from the large glass window in Grand Central Station is amazing. Definitely one of your best photos. Congratulations Amy.
it really does look like just them in Grand Central and I love the last image sooo much!
