We have been talking about it since we were in high school.  The sun, the waves, and new adventures with best friends.  We wanted a beach trip and we wanted to go with each other.

This weekend our dream from seven years ago has finally become a reality!  I am down in Charleston, SC with my oldest, and closest friends for Lori’s bachelorette party!  We have spent the day jogging around the beautiful Isle of Palms, bonding to the rolling sounds of the ocean, and shopping in downtown Charleston.  In high school we said friends forever, and that is exactly what we meant.

Life changes us. We grow up, move in different directions, and learn who we really are.  Our friendships, our true ones, are what remains constant.  Connections that linger…waiting for the next adventure.
