As a wedding photographer and lover of love, I find it impossible not to dream about weddings EVERYWHERE I go.  That includes cool restaurants,  shopping trips, even the grocery store!  Last week on one of my lunch breaks, I walked into an adorable boutique in Madison, NJ called Statements.  I had been in before (and even purchased a black sequined dress for my sisters’ bachelorette party here) but I never noticed how many sweet items the store carried for BRIDES!  As I walked through the store, I found myself wishing I could get married all over again so I would have a reason to purchase the cute items in front of me. Unfortunately/fortunately I am not getting married again, but I did want to share my findings with current brides!  Check out some of my favorite details from Statements Boutique below!

Meet the owner of the store, Brooke!  Brooke always dreamed of owning her own boutique.  Four years into her business, she is a huge success!  As a fellow business owner, I asked Brooke to share a little about her journey.  Here is what she had to say:

From when I was a young girl I was always infatuated with jewelry & accessories.  My Mom has an impeccable sense of style and flawless taste, which definitely fueled my spark and fascination with fashion. Whenever we went shopping, my favorite spots were the little boutiques carrying all the best unique and stylish finds. I never wanted what everyone else had and dreamed of one day owning my own store filled with those unique finds I always lusted over as a child and young adult. As luck and timing would have it, in July of 2008 my dream became a blissful reality!
