Summer Central Park Boathouse Wedding
Lindsay and Brian’s summer Central Park Boathouse wedding was a dreamy celebration nestled right in the heart of New York City! Their special day captured everything I love about summer weddings in Central Park, from the lush greenery to the serene waterfront views at the Boathouse. It was a day filled with love, laughter, and unforgettable memories, and I can’t wait to share all the stunning moments with you!
A Beautiful Wedding at the Boathouse in Central Park
Lindsey and Brian celebrated their love with a classic Central Park Boathouse wedding. Their day was full of quintessential NYC moments from getting ready at The Plaza, to capturing wedding photos in Central Park, and sneaking off after their ceremony for a romantic gondola ride!
Lindsay shared the sweetest review with me after their wedding: “Amy went above and beyond in making our wedding day special and we can’t recommend her enough! She was such a pleasure to work with in the lead up to our wedding and on the day off. Amy’s warm, positive energy is contagious and she left a lasting impression on my husband and I (she’s exactly who you want surrounding you on your big day!) Her work is absolutely incredible and she captured every moment of our big day perfectly.”
I am so grateful to have been a part of such a special day in Lindsay and Brian’s lives!
Fall Engagement Photos in Central Park
Lindsay and Brian visited Central Park for an engagement session prior to their wedding. It was so special to visit the same iconic locations they would return to on their wedding day! We strolled through Bethesda Terrace and captured beautiful moments by the fountain and on the steps. With the NYC skyline as their backdrop and a stop in front of their future wedding venue, the Boathouse, every photo felt like a perfect preview of the unforgettable day to come!
Getting Ready at The Plaza Hotel
Lindsay began her wedding day surrounded by her bridesmaids, family, and even her adorable pup at The Plaza Hotel. The morning was filled with laughter and excitement in the cutest matching getting-ready pajamas! I loved how the timelessly elegant invitations and lush white florals set the tone for the day. Lindsay looked absolutely radiant in her bridal portraits on the hotel’s iconic balcony! Before heading off to meet Brian, Lindsay shared first looks with her family and bridesmaids.
Meanwhile, Brian got ready with his groomsmen and family. Dapper in his wedding attire, he shared toasts and laughs with his closest friends. As the final touches were made, Brian couldn’t wait to see his beautiful bride for the first time. With an air of anticipation, he made his way to the iconic staircase at The Plaza, ready to begin this unforgettable day with Lindsay by his side.
Wedding Day First Look at The Plaza NYC
Lindsay and Brian’s first look on the grand staircase of The Plaza Hotel was full of emotion and joy! As Lindsay descended the stairs in her stunning gown, Brian waited at the bottom, his face lighting up with anticipation. The moment they met was full of laughter and heartfelt embraces. Brian couldn’t resist twirling his beautiful bride before they headed off to capture more photos around The Plaza.
Perfect Wedding Photos at The Plaza Hotel
Lindsay and Brian captured the most beautiful wedding photos both inside and outside The Plaza. From a lovely portrait on the romantic balcony to a sweet kiss on the staircase, each moment captured the beauty and joy of their day. Afterward, they joined their friends and family for fun group photos!
Friends, Family, and a Champagne Celebration
After gathering their family and friends for wedding photos, Lindsay and Brian took a moment for a private celebration! Brian popped a bottle of champagne and the couple toasted to their futures. I love that they celebrated this moment together! The two then headed off to Central Park, but not before giving their cute pup one last cuddle!
Romantic Summer Wedding Photos in Central Park
There is something so special about Central Park in the summertime and Lindsay and Brian’s wedding day was no exception. We revisited the same places from their engagement session with the pair now dressed in their wedding day best. We all laughed when a couple geese decided to join in their photos! Lindsey and Brian took a moment alone, soaking in the beautiful views before heading to their ceremony.
Wedding Ceremony at the Central Park Boathouse
The Central Park Boathouse has always been one of my favorite wedding venues. Lindsay and Brian outdid themselves with a gorgeous ceremony space! White flickering candles lined the aisle to the window surrounded by overflowing floral arrangements. Their ceremony was filled with love and laughter. Lindsay and Brian couldn’t stop smiling at each other the whole time!
Wedding Gondola Ride
After their heartwarming ceremony, Lindsay and Brian snuck off for a romantic gondola ride on the lake. This is such a beautifully classic NYC wedding tradition for couples getting married at the Central Park Boathouse! They toasted champagne and soaked in their first moments as newlyweds before rejoining their guests.
Summer Central Park Boathouse Wedding Reception
The timeless elegance continued into the gorgeous Central Park Boathouse reception. Towering florals and romantic candles adorned tables and guests were treated to fun his and hers specialty cocktails. Lindsay and Brian entered the room to applause and shared a romantic first dance. Their family and friends joined them, dancing the night away before ending the evening with a sweet treat!
Thank You
Lindsay and Brian, thank you for allowing me to be a part of your incredible summer wedding at the Central Park Boathouse! I loved capturing every beautiful moment, and I wish you both so much happiness in the many years to come!
