It was a sunny summer day in Charlotte, North Carolina, the type of day brides dream about for their wedding day!  Kasey was all smiles as she spent the morning getting ready with her bridesmaids.  She couldn’t wait for the moment she would see James for the first time, walking down the aisle of the church where her parents committed to spend their lives together so many years before.  Arm in arm with her dad, Kasey looked absolutely radiant as she made her way towards the man she had fallen in love with, the stained glass windows castings glimmers of rainbow light around her.  There were no tears on James’ cheeks, just a huge smile from the moment he locked eyes with his bride, to their celebratory walk back down the aisle as husband and wife!  The beauty of this very special ceremony was a joy to witness, and I feel blessed to have been there to capture such an important moment in this sweet couple’s lives, the moment they began their journey together.

That evening, Kasey and James danced the night away at the Charlotte City Club with their family and friends!  The views of the city around them were breathtaking, and it was obvious to everyone in attendance that Kasey and James were on top of the world.  I hope you enjoy reliving a few of my favorite moments from this incredible day below. 🙂

Myers Park Methodist Church was super special to Kasey and James as it is where Kasey’s parents tied the knot many years ago.

Kasey was actually one of my college tennis teammates and doubles partner at Gardner-Webb University!  It was fun getting to spend the day celebrating with her and so many of my other teammates in the bridal party.

Guests were able to enjoy the views out of the floor to ceiling windows as they sat down for dinner together.

I love getting on dance floor with my couples when I have a moment.  Thank you Jenny for pulling me in for one song!

At the end of the evening, Kasey and James exited under a shower of sparkly lights held by their surrounding family and friends.  The excitement and romance of this moment made for the perfect end to an absolutely beautiful day.
