There is just something so incredibly sweet about high school sweethearts!  Meghan and Kevin met in their homeroom class.  She was a McDermott, he a McPartland, and since they were seated alphabetically, they sat just one row away from each other.  As they spent more and more time together, Meghan and Kevin’s relationship grew, turing from a friendship into something greater.  Years later, Kevin got down on one knee and proposed to Meghan on Long Beach Island!  It was just the two of them on a blanket on the beach, and it was perfect.

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of capturing Meghan and Kevin’s romantic Beach Haven engagement session.  Since Kevin’s family has a home here, this sweet couple has spent many summers walking along the beach, trying the best ice cream flavors from Barry’s, and dining at their favorite restaurants along the water.   I had so much fun traveling down memory lane with Meghan and Kevin, and I am so excited to share a few of my favorite moments from our time together below.

Meghan and Kevin wanted to recreate their proposal.  They brought a blanket and sat cuddled together on the beach by the spot where they got engaged!

Beach Haven has so much character!  How adorable is this Bait and Tackle shop by the water?!

After Kevin proposed, he surprised Meghan with dinner at The Gables!  It was so much fun revisiting it during their Beach Haven engagement session.

For dessert, we headed to Barry’s, the couple’s favorite ice cream parlor!
