Cassi was wearing a yellow jacket, and Chris couldn’t take his eyes off of her. He couldn’t believe it had only been a few short years since they met while working at the same camp. Time seemed to fly by with Cassi. Full of youthful energy, jubilance, and always up for adventure, Chris knew he had found his perfect match in her.
As they skated under the twinkling lights of the Rockefeller tree, Cassi’s ear to ear smile lit up the rink. She had enjoyed a wonderful day with Chris, and much to her surprise, the night was turning out to be even better. Circling around under the tree, Cassi’s hand flew to her mouth as she watched Chris get down on one knee! As the crowd began to cheer around them, Cassi exclaimed “YES!”, overjoyed to be marrying the man she loved.
This winter, Cassi and Chris helped make a dream shoot of mine a reality! I am obsessed with the movie Serendipity and wanted to recreate an engagement session around that theme. Since Cassi and Chris got engaged while iceskating, it seemed like it was meant to be! Thank you so much Cassi and Chris for spending the afternoon with me. We started our snowy session right outside the Plaza Hotel!

After the Plaza, we headed over to Wollman’s Rink for a little ice skating!
While Cassi and Chris were on the ice, it began to snow! SO MAGICAL!

As the sun began to set, Cassi and Chris headed to Serendipity to share a famous Frrrozen Hot Chocolate.

The photos of Chris and Cassi’s engagement session are cold looking….but they warm you when you look at them. I love the photos of them ice skating. Can’t believe it has taken you this long to get a couple with a frozen hot chocolate. Brings back fond memories! I also like your Favorite photo and the photo immediately after. Great job Amy.
