You know those fairy tale weddings? Days that are just so beautiful and filled with magic that they make your heart want to burst with happiness? Jessika and Vincent had a wedding like that. Ever since Jessika was a little girl, she dreamed of having her wedding at the Central Park Boathouse. An iconic New York City venue nestled in the center of Central Park, the Boathouse is timeless, romantic and filled with so many incredible love stories.
Jessika and Vincent’s wedding took place on a snowy December day. From the window in the Mandarin Oriental Hotel, Jessika and her bridesmaids couldn’t help but be filled with giddy excitement as they watched the tiny flakes lay a silky white blanket over Central Park. As the sun set over the city, twinkly lights began to appear, creating a dreamy and truly whimsical feel for Jessika and Vincent’s candlelight ceremony. With their closest family and friends standing supportive on each side, Jessika walked down the aisle towards Vincent, the man of her dreams, the one she would spend an eternity loving. As Vincent’s best man placed his hand on his shoulder, Vincent lost his breath for a moment, taken away by how absolutely beautiful his bride looked. They vowed forever to each other, the lake glistening behind them with the city lights and the falling snow.
Jessika and Vincent’s wedding truly was a fairy tale. After their ceremony, Jessika and Vincent spent a few moments walking around Central Park, just the two of them. The photographs that resulted are filled with so much love and magic and are absolutely perfect to share on this snowy day! Grab a cup of coffee, cozy up by the fire, and check out a few of my favorite images from Jessika and Vincent’s Central Park Boathouse wedding.
Jessika was a dancer growing up. She attached these delicate ballerina pins to her bouquet and her sisters (her maid of honor). I love this personal detail.
Vincent got ready with his groomsmen at the Hudson Hotel. A big thanks to my fabulous second shooter Mekina Saylor for capturing these moments!
With the snow falling outside, the cozy candlelight ceremony took place inside the Central Park Boathouse.
Right after becoming husband and wife. This intimate moment might be one of my favorites from the entire day.
There is nothing more magical than dancing in the snow in the middle of New York City.
After our stroll in the snow, we headed back to the Central Park Boathouse to find a breathtaking transformation for Jessika and Vincent’s reception!
Vincent’s family put away a special bottle of champagne the year Vincent was born. They decided to open it together on the night he married his beautiful bride!
The night ended with a whole lot of dancing and the cutting of their beautiful cake!
Thank you again Jessika and Vincent for allowing me to be a part of your magical Central Park Boathouse wedding. I wish you both so much happiness together in the years to come.
