It was dusk in New York City, and the twinkling lights of the Rockefeller Christmas tree were just beginning to really shine. Alex and Edina had spent an amazing day together, and this was one of their last stops. Making their way to the bottom of the 80-foot tall tree, they paused in front of the GE Building, the place where they first met. In front of hundreds of people, Alex got down on one knee and asked Edina to be his wife! The crowds roared with cheers of joy as Edina nodded YES! Alex stood up and gave her a huge hug, so happy to be spending his life with someone he loves to much.
This Sunday I had the opportunity to photograph Edina and Alex under the Rockefeller tree and in Central Park. I had so much fun spending the afternoon with them and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorites from their session. I hope you enjoy looking through their sweet photos as much as I do!

Alex proposed to Edina beneath the sparkling lights of the Rockefeller Christmas tree!

Edina was so excited about the proposal that she forget to say anything! It wasn’t until Alex stood up and asked her if that was a yes that she exclaimed “OF COURSE!”

Edina and Alex actually met while working on a project together at GE! They currently work in the same building, just on different floors.

When I asked Alex what he loved most about Edina he explained, “She has five different laughs!” Edina admitted it was Alex’s sense of humor that attracted her to him in the first place, and when they were together, she was always smiling.

Edina and Alex are planning an outdoor wedding in September. The are currently looking for a venue and can’t wait to set an official date!

Edina and Alex, congratulations again on your engagement! You two are so sweet together and I know you will have many happy years to come.
Love these! Really love the one with the ring held out and the bokeh lights behind it! – Some beyond amazing shots here.
Edina and Alex,Congratulations!! My family were the donors of the tree to Rockefeller Center this year – I decided to Google to see if anyone proposed and was glad to see this. Best of luck to you.
