COURAGE, GUMPTION + A WILD IMAGINATION : 2013 GOALS

It takes a dash of courage, a heaping handful of gumption, and a wild imagination to make all your dreams come true.  And imagine if they did…if all your dreams came true.  How wonderful would that be?

A new year is here and visions of new dreams and goals are already dancing around in my head!   Big dreams, little dreams, and all those in between!  A large part of making your dreams come true is speaking them out loud.  Sharing your goals with those around you gives others the opportunity to help you work towards reaching them.  It also holds you accountable to blaze a path that will enable you to reach your goals.  In the past few days, I have taken time to revisit my goals from last year and have begun working on etching out new ones for 2013.   As revealing as it feels to share my dreams to the world (Facebook friends and sweet people who read my blog), I know the first step to accomplishing them is speaking them out loud.  The second step?  Having courage to work towards them and believing they can come true.

Before moving on to 2013, I wanted to take time to celebrate the goals that were accomplished in 2012.  You might remember my setting goals + creating a vision blog post from last year.  Check out all the exciting feats I was able to cross off the list.

Okay, I know some of these dreams are BIG, but with hard work, a little help from others, and a whole lot of faith, I truly believe they can be accomplished.  After all, if you don’t dream big, trust God, and step out in faith, how will you ever know what God can do with your life?   Do you have goals and dreams for 2013?  I would love to hear them!  Feel free to share them in the comment box below.  HAPPY NEW YEAR!
