It is funny how God brings the right people into our lives at exactly the right moment. Erin and Paul met three times before they really took notice of each other. It wasn’t the right time, so God closed their eyes. It took a mutual friend’s introduction to finally spark their interest in one another! Erin was attending school in Alabama while Paul was studying in Pennsylvania. Even though they were 748 miles apart, their connection was strong enough to make them want to keep in touch. Pretty soon they were spending every weekend together, taking turns making the flight back and forth from state to state! A year later, Paul found himself on one knee, asking Erin to be his wife.
When I asked this couple how they knew so quickly, Erin explained, “It is just a feeling I get when I am around Paul…it is unlike anything I have ever experienced before! We make each other laugh and we just love being with each other. I knew pretty quickly God fashioned us to just…fit.” She sounded so confident and her words made me smile. It was nice to know that in a day and age where finding your soulmate can sometimes feel impossible, our Creator is faithfully working to bring us all our happily ever afters.

Erin and Paul are tying the knot next year in Alabama! They are so excited to start their lives together…in the same state!

Erin and I actually attended college together at Gardner-Webb University for one year! We met through a small group in our dorm!

Erin and Paul’s happiness could be seen all over their faces! They were constantly laughing and playing with each other!

Wishing for a life filled with love!

Bling bling! Great job on the ring Paul!

Erin and Paul chose to do their engagement session at the Longwood Gardens in Pennsylvania! The soft light in this green house was absolutely dreamy!

Love seeing these genuine smiles!

Erin was so excited when we came across these lanterns! She is actually going to incorporate them into her wedding!

Life always seems better when you are snuggled in your loved one’s arms!

Telling secrets…in this gorgeous light!

LOVE.

Before leaving Longwood Gardens, Erin and Paul couldn’t resist playing a quick game of hide and seek in these beautifully manicured trees!

Our next stop? The Longwood Fire Company where Paul serves as an active firefighter!

One of Paul’s groomsmen and fellow firefighters pulled the truck out for some fun pictures! I just love the way the sun is peeking over this amazing truck.

Erin and Paul, it was a true pleasure spending the day with you! I loved getting to know you as a couple and I wish you both all the happiness in the world as you begin your lives together!
Gorgeous pictures Amy! I love the ones in the greenhouse. Her ring picture is beautiful!
great pictures as usual Amy! Love the greenhouse effect! 🙂
Amy, The picutes of Erin and Paul are very creative. I know you had a smile on your face while you were clicking away. The pictues you captured makes you smile. You have to love the firetruck pictures, especially the ladder photo. I love the photo of Erin kicking up her heels. Was she a high jumper at GWU? I love the telling secrets picture where the light was amazing. I have 2 favorites…the one taken through the leaves (beautiful) and the first photo in the series. The colors and composition are beautiful. Great job Amy!
