True love stories will get you in a way that nothing else can.  You know, the kind that causes your chest to swell up with hope and makes you believe in the happily ever after.  Autumn and Perry have one of those love stories.

Perry met Autumn for the first time around a campfire.  While gathering firewood and searching for constellations in the sky, Perry couldn’t help but be attracted to Autumn’s down to earth personality and obvious passion for life.  Instinctively, he knew he had found someone special.  When Perry discovered Autumn would be moving back to Hawaii at the end of the summer to teach, he quickly suggested a visit down to the beautiful island to get to know her better.  Autumn was intrigued by how naturally a relationship seemed to be forming between them, and she said YES!

On the beautiful island of Oahu, Autumn and Perry went snorkeling, played tennis, hiked, and jumped off cliffs.  They both realized how much fun they had together, and in that month, Autumn and Perry began to fall in love.

Fast forward two years.  Autumn and Perry had moved back to New Jersey and were looking for the perfect townhouse together.  When they finally settled on the right one, they hired painters to come in and make sure everything looked like new.  Autumn was so excited to see the new place and rushed in to meet Perry.  As they walked into their new master bathroom, Autumn gasped, not because of the paint, but because of what was written on the mirror.  In large red letters, surrounded by candles and champagne were the words, “Will you marry me?”  Perry confessed he wanted to move into their place together with a ring on Autumn’s finger and Autumn couldn’t have been happier.  She smiled as she said yes with her whole heart.

Two weekends ago I had the pleasure of capturing Autumn and Perry’s engagement session!  Autumn and Perry came SO prepared and together, we had fun exploring the boardwalk at Asbury Park.  Check out some of my favorites from the day below!

Autumn and Perry will be getting married June 28, 2013!  I couldn’t be more excited to capture their beautiful wedding day!

As we walked around Asbury Park, Autumn and Perry had permanent smiles on their faces.  Being around them makes happiness contagious!

There is nothing Autumn and Perry love more than a good adventure.  They can always be found riding their bikes, hiking, or playing a game of tennis.

Autumn, seriously, you are GORGEOUS!

Speaking of bike rides, Autumn and Perry brought a tandem bike to their engagement session!  This seriously might be the cutest prop.  EVER.

The old casino on the boardwalk was amazing!  Plus it provided gorgeous light.

As the sun set, Autumn and Perry laughed together as they road their bike up and down the boardwalk.

I couldn’t have imagined a more perfect end to a perfect day.
