Cori and Mike met while serving as volunteers at the East Swamp Student Ministry. They were not necessarily looking for love, but love is what they found. Cori and Mike started to discover how much they had in common during their late night talks until 3:00 in the morning! Cori fell for Mike’s contagious love for life while Mike grew to adore Cori’s warm heart for others. Bringing them even closer was their mutual love for their heavenly father, and the knowledge that He would always be the rock on which they would build their relationship.
Last weekend, I had the pleasure of photographing Cori and Mike’s beautiful wedding with Becka Pillmore of PillDesigns and Photography. I felt honored to assist Becka in capturing Cori and Mike’s special day and glad to make a new friend in the process! I invite you to join me on a journey through Cori and Mike’s unforgettable wedding day! I guarantee you will fall in love with this sweet couple as quickly as I did!

Cori’s shoes were a bright magenta, adorned with tiny pearls and a simple bow.

How GORGEOUS is Cori’s wedding dress?!

Cori got ready with her mom and bridesmaids by her side, making sure every detail was perfect!

STUNNING!

Mike and Cori handmade the delicate flowers on the trees that decorated the ceremony.

Cori’s father walked her down the aisle 🙂

Mr. and Mrs. Rittenhouse!

Cori’s bouquet was soft and full…and completely filled with COLOR!

Mike said he felt lucky to be marrying the girl of his dreams.

How cool are these pink socks?!

Mike and Cori felt lucky to be surrounded by all of their family and friends.

Right before Cori and Mike headed to their reception, it started to rain. According to the old wives’ tale, rain is good luck. The knot in “tying the knot” becomes wet and is harder to break, thus making the marriage stronger. Cori and Mike, I wish you a strong marriage, lots of laughter, and endless amounts of love in your future!
Nice pictures Amy.. (no surprise there!) I especially love the flowers,,, sooo pretty.
