Classic Central Park Wedding

Is there anything more lovely than Central Park in the spring? This past weekend was such a joy as I got to capture Amanda and Will’s beautiful Central Park Boathouse wedding! Every moment of their classic NYC nuptials was filled with romance, style, and fun!

Spring Wedding Day Full of Excitement

Amanda and Will each got ready in their own respective suites at the Loews Regency. I loved the excitement buzzing through the air as their friends and family surrounded them! Amanda slipped on her gorgeous Legends Romona Keveza dress and posed for portraits with her bridesmaids in their stunning Dressy gowns. The invitation suite designed by Bella Figura was so beautiful and perfectly captured Amanda and Will’s wedding style!

First Look Wedding Photos at Loews Regency

After spending the morning with their family and friends, Amanda and Will finally saw each other for the first time on the balcony at the Loews Regency! The moment was so full of raw emotion and joy! Loews was the perfect location for their sweet first look as it overlooked Central Park where Amanda and Will would be getting married!

Cherry Blossom Wedding Portraits

There are few things I love more than cherry blossoms in Central Park, and Amanda and Will’s spring wedding was timed perfectly for these blooms! The pink blossoms served as the sweetest backdrop for their wedding photos in Central Park! Amanda, Will, and their wedding party spent the afternoon taking classic portraits at all of my favorite locations including Bethesda Terrace and Fountain and the Boathouse! After these fun photos, Amanda and Will made their way to their Central Park wedding ceremony!

Perfect Spring Wedding Ceremony in NYC

Amanda and Will were all smiles as she made her way down the aisle. I loved their personal vows during the ceremony! They were beautifully written and so thoughtful. The room was filled with so much love! After being pronounced husband and wife, Will and Amanda shared a kiss and made their way back down the aisle, hand in hand.

Central Park Wedding Reception

Following their sweet ceremony, it was time for Amanda and Will’s Loeb Boathouse wedding celebration! I loved the soft, white details in everything from the flowers to the cake. The touches of greenery were a perfect nod to the blooming spring season, and the decor had the most wonderfully classic, romantic feel. The band was amazing and kept Amanda and Will and their guests on the dance floor all night!

Hamptons Engagement

How They Met

I love Sarah’s story of how she and Jonathan met! Sarah says, “Jonathan is originally from a suburb of Pittsburgh, but moved up to NYC in 2008. I was born and raised in Queens. Jonathan and I met in November of 2013 through two of our childhood best friends who were dating at the time. Jonathan’s friend Derrick had come up from Pittsburgh to visit my friend and roommate Sue (they were newly dating and this would be our first time meeting him) and he invited Jonathan to come out with us. We’ve been together over 5 years and have a puppy named Charlie together!”

Joyful Beach Engagement Photos

I was thrilled to spend the day in gorgeous Southampton capturing the love and excitement between Sarah and Jonathan! Sarah’s great-grandfather purchased land in Southampton back in the 1940s and her father spent his summers growing up there. Sarah’s father bought a house of his own down the road, and Sarah was lucky to spend her own childhood summers in the Hamptons! As Sarah describes, “it’s my favorite place in the world to be! Since Jonathan and I have been together, it’s become one of his favorite places, too!  My parents’ house is on a pond and there are spits of beach that open up to the bay. We like to kayak and paddle board over to the beach for the day and joke that it’s our “private beach” because not many people kayak over. Last August, just a few days after my 30th birthday, we were at the beach together. Jonathan turned to me and asked me to marry him! It was perfect, but I still can’t believe he kayaked over with the ring!

I returned to the beach where Jonathan proposed for beautiful beach engagement photos of Sarah and Jonathan. They even broke out a bottle of their favorite wine to enjoy while their dog, Charlie, romped around the dunes!

Sunset in Southampton

After capturing the fun and joy between Sarah and Jonathan in their Hamptons beach engagement photos, we traveled to an inlet for the sunset. The sky was painted in perfect blue, pink, and purple pastels. Sarah’s stunning red dress popped beautifully against the sunset background. The joy between Sarah and Jonathan was contagious! The two shared a sweet moment, their love outshining even the summer sun.

Lovely Loeb Boathouse Wedding Day

Clouds and rain couldn’t stop the joy radiating from Myriam and Steve on the day of their Loeb Boathouse wedding! The Central Park Boathouse is one of my favorite NYC wedding venues, and it was so much fun seeing Myriam and Steve bring their romantic style to this classic NYC landmark. Every moment of their wedding day was filled with laughter and love as they began their greatest adventure together!

Wedding Morning at the Loews Regency Hotel

The Loews Regency Hotel made for a really fun getting ready location. Each of the hotel’s suites is uniquely decorated with a different theme. I loved that Myriam and her bridesmaids filled their room with confetti balloons! The mismatched pink and floral bridesmaid dresses were perfect for this summer wedding, and Myriam’s own Pronovias wedding dress was stunning! Myriam’s romantic curls fell over her shoulders, which were covered in the delicate lace flowers of her gown. While Myriam and her bridesmaids completed their finishing touches, Steve got ready in his own suite with his groomsmen. After a morning full of anticipation and fun, it was finally time for Myriam and Steve’s first look!

First Look with a View

Myriam and Steve shared their first look on the wrap-around balcony outside of Steve’s room and his huge smile when he saw Myriam for the first time really said it all. He was totally wowed and thought she looked so beautiful! I absolutely loved capturing their first look against the gorgeous NYC backdrop. The skies were cloudy, but Myriam and Steve’s love lit up the terrace! The two joined hands as they made their way to Central Park for more wedding photos.

Central Park Wedding Day Photos

Following their first look, Myriam and Steve traveled to Central Park for their NYC wedding day photos. I had such a great time photographing Myriam and Steve! This couple really is the epitome of cool. They laugh easily, enjoy traveling, and always seem to have fun together. We had the chance to capture portraits at some of my all of my favorite Central Park wedding photo locations: Bethesda Fountain, Bethesda Terrace, The Lake, and Bow Bridge. It was a perfect summer afternoon, even the rain showers couldn’t put a damper on this happy day!

Loeb Boathouse Wedding Ceremony

After capturing Myriam and Steve’s Central Park wedding photos, it was time for their beautiful ceremony! Their family and friends gathered as Myriam made her way down the aisle towards Steve, his eyes shining. Myriam and Steve said their vows beneath a gorgeous floral arch. Their ceremony was full of so much love! After their first kiss, Myriam and Steve made their way back down the aisle and to the dock for a romantic boat ride for two.

Celebrating in a Central Park Gondola

One of my favorite moments was the boat ride to Bow Bridge following Myriam and Steve’s beautiful Central Park boathouse ceremony. It was quiet, but full of newlywed excitement! The gondola ride gave Myriam and Steve the chance to spend their first moments as husband and wife alone, soaking up all the wonderful possibilities of their new adventure!

Central Park Boathouse Wedding Reception

The Loeb Boathouse wedding reception was a perfect blend of soft, romantic details and classic NYC style. Vases dripping with pink and white blossoms adorned every table. The layered wedding cake by Momofuku looked absolutely delicious! The Gotham Project band was amazing and the dance floor was packed all night! After celebrating with their family and friends, Myriam and Steve ended their wedding night with romantic backlit photos on the Bethesda Terrace. The two shared a sweet kiss as they celebrated the first night of their new adventure as husband and wife!

3 West Club Wedding Shoot

I was so thrilled to work with the amazing Big Apple Bride team on this gorgeous 3 West Club wedding in New York City! Working with Sarah and Michelle from Big Apple Bride was so much fun!  They designed and coordinated the entire shoot and did a fabulous job!  I loved the romantic feel they created for models (and real life couple!) Anna and Andrew, and the views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral were breathtaking. Capturing this 3 West Club wedding shoot was a dream come true!

Dreamy Wedding Details

Every detail of this stunning 3 West Club wedding styled shoot was an absolute dream! Walking into the venue was like stepping into wedding heaven. From the dreamy tablescape to the incredible florals – everything was gorgeous! Twisted Willow Flowers created the most beautiful floral installations!  All of their designs are unique and so alive!  Any bride and groom would be lucky to work with them! The pastel pink and white blossoms with greenery accents perfectly matched the invitation suite by Love Pretty. The swirling calligraphy on the over-sized mirror (courtesy of CreationsByMeKP) provided a reflective backdrop for some of my favorite 3 West Club wedding photos!

Perfectly Romantic NYC Wedding Photo Shoot

While Anna and Andrew are models, they are also husband and wife!  I loved getting the chance to create so many sweet and authentic moments with them at the beautiful 3 West Club. After posing among the romantic blooms, Anna and Andrew cozied up together at the sweetheart table. I can imagine they may have been reliving the magic of their own wedding day!

Gorgeous Views from 3 West Club Wedding

After capturing the beautiful interior shots, we headed outside. The views from 3 West Club’s terrace were absolutely breathtaking! The towers and turrets of St. Patrick’s Cathedral, along with the towering NYC skyscrapers, made the most incredible backdrop.

My favorite moment was the cake cutting with views of St. Patrick’s Cathedral behind Anna and Andrew!  It doesn’t get much more classic or romantic. And of course, the cake by Butterfly Bakeshop was delicious!

Ingrid and Coleman’s Beautiful Hippodrome Theatre Wedding

It was a beautiful day in Baltimore, filled with blue skies and summer sunshine. Every detail had been rehearsed, and now it was time for Ingrid and Coleman’s premiere as husband and wife! This wedding was especially meaningful to me as Cole is my husband Matt’s cousin! The happy couple starred in the performance of their lives at the gorgeous Hippodrome Theatre in Baltimore!

The Heart of the Hippodrome

Not only is the Hippodrome Theatre a gorgeously unique wedding venue, it is also at the heart of both Ingrid and Cole’s families! Ingrid’s grandmother has been attending shows at the Hippodrome for decades, and some of Ingrid’s fondest memories are attending performances with her grandmother and family. The Hippodrome is also very special to Cole: his grandmother performed at the theatre! In 2000, Cole’s father and his company renovated the Hippodrome, ensuring its continued legacy. This theatrically-inspired couple were so thrilled to be married in such a beautiful theatre that holds immense meaning for both of their families!

Setting the Stage

Ingrid and her cast of bridesmaids got ready backstage in the theatre’s dressing room, excitedly preparing for Ingrid and Cole’s moment in the spotlight. The energy filling the theatre was similar to the anticipation before a show’s opening night! I loved the posters and playbills Ingrid and Cole had created to celebrate their theatre wedding! The marquee even announced their wedding as that day’s “show”! The Hippodrome was beautiful, inside and out, and it really was the perfect backdrop for Ingrid and Cole’s wedding.

Show-Stopping First Look

I loved Ingrid and Cole’s first look in the theatre box! There was an overture of emotion and tears from both sides, and the grandeur of it all had me wiping tears too!  Up in a private box, Ingrid and Cole were truly the stars of their own love story. Joy filled the whole theatre as they shared sweet moments together before their theatre wedding ceremony!

Tony-Worthy Wedding Ceremony

After their first look, it was time for Ingrid and Cole to say “I do”! Ingrid’s father escorted her down the aisle towards Cole, his eyes shining and full of love. Ingrid and Cole clasped hands and made their way to center stage. Their ceremony was so special, with moving vows and a beautiful song preformed by Cole’s mom. Following their first kiss as husband and wife, Cole and Ingrid exited the stage to a standing ovation from their loved ones.

First Moments as Husband and Wife

Before Ingrid and Cole’s theatre wedding reception, this sweet couple enjoyed their first moments as husband and wife posing for their wedding portraits. Their bridal party joined in for joyful celebrations outside the Hippodrome! Ingrid and Cole held hands and made their way down the red carpet to rejoin their family and friends – and get the festivities started!

Thrilling Theatre Wedding Reception

Ingrid and Cole’s theatre wedding reception took place right on the Hippodrome’s stage! Guests got to dine onstage and feel like stars themselves. The gold and grey color scheme dazzled and perfectly complimented the beauty of the Hippodrome. The band had everyone dancing under the bright stage lights! Not to be upstaged, Cole got up and sang a song with his band, the Greasy Hands, during the reception! They put on an amazing performance and I loved watching Ingrid dance along in the first row!

Ingrid and Coleman’s Curtain Call

Before the curtain fell on their perfect theatre wedding, Ingrid and Cole shared a sweet moment. The newlyweds embraced and watched as their friends and family celebrated the beginning of their lives together.
