How They Met

I adore the sweet story of how Marcy and Michael first met! As Marcy shared, “My fiance, Michael, and I met in San Francisco at a mutual friend’s Passover Sedar (now my favorite holiday!). We were “randomly” chosen to sit together and hit it off right away. I couldn’t believe my friend hadn’t told me about her super cute, smart, Jewish friend. He felt the same way! I convinced him to take me out on a real date and we’ve been inseparable ever since. We moved to NYC a little over a year ago and although I’m a Cali girl born and raised I’m really loving it here and am embracing being a New Yorker!”

How He Proposed

Michael proposed to Marcy at the end of December on a snowy day in Central Park. He planned it perfectly – the two enjoyed breakfast at the Boathouse and a wonderful day together! Michael specifically chose to propose on a snowy day: his strategy was to give Marcy a positive association with the cold to convince her to stay in NY forever! It worked!

My Favorite Places to Take Engagement Photos in Central Park

It was such a joy to capture sweet photos of Marcy and Michael in some of my favorite photo spots in Central Park! I love the portraits on Gapstow Bridge with the city skyline in the background! The iconic Central Park benches were the perfect spot for some cuddly poses! We also found a beautiful spot with incredible views of the buildings on 59th street.

Sweet Engagement in Central Park

It was so fun to return to Central Park where Michael proposed to Marcy! I loved reliving that special day with this wonderful couple. I hope these Central Park engagement photos will be cherished memories for years to come!

Laughter and Love

One of my favorite things about Marcy and Michael is how silly and at home they are with one another! Their Central Park engagement photos were filled with laughter! These two truly have so much fun together, and it was an absolute joy to capture these moments for them!

I am so thrilled for Marcy and Michael’s upcoming Le Chateau wedding this summer – and this fun couple is clearly excited as well! Marcy and Michael, thank you for choosing me to capture your engagement in Central Park. I am already looking forward to the big day!
