HOW TO PREPARE FOR YOUR GETTING READY PHOTOS

They are often some of my favorite photos of the day…the getting ready photos!  There is just something so nice about spending a morning getting a little glamorous with your closest girlfriends.  Today I wanted to take a moment to talk about how to best prepare for your getting ready photos on your wedding day.  I have put together a short video blog with three of my favorite tips, and you can check it out below!

I hope this vlog was helpful!  To recap, when preparing for your getting ready photos consider:

1. Location- It always looks nice if your getting ready location matches the look and feel of your ceremony and reception site.  If you have a wedding album in your collection, this looks great as your photos will tell a cohesive story throughout this beautiful heirloom.

2. Lighting- The more natural light, the better!  Look for getting ready locations with lots of soft window light. 🙂

3. The Details- Along with capturing photos of you and your bridal party getting ready, I would also love to capture the details you have put so much thought into for your wedding day.  If you could bring along a full invitation suite, your dress, shoes, jewelry, complete set of wedding rings (your engagement ring and two bands), and any other special details you would like me to capture, that would be great!
