Soft baby blue blankets, teeny tiny clothes, and hundreds of children’s books filled Jasmine and Lucas’ brightly lit upper east side apartment.  Expecting a little baby boy on Christmas day, these sweet parents to be were bubbling with excitement when I walked through the door.  As I oohed and awed over adorable shoes the size of my palm, Jasmine and Lucas shared how the last nine months had been going.  “I know it is strange, but I have been CRAVING Nutella and grapefruit..together!”, Jasmine exclaimed.  “I was fine throughout most of the pregnancy, but now I just feel hungry all the time.”  When I asked Lucas what he thought the biggest change would be, he said one word…”Sleep!”  “We like to stay up late, but I know it will be much different when the baby comes”, Lucas explained.  “I hope we are ready for it!”

Spending the afternoon with this couple, I know they will be!  Jasmine and Lucas are kind, loving, and I am sure they will be incredible parents.  Enjoy a few of my favorite photographs from their maternity session below!
