From the moment I heard about it’s release I knew I wanted it.  It was strong, sturdy, and absolutely perfect.  I fell in love with the 5D Mark III on March 2, 2012 and I have been dreaming about it ever since!  We would take walks through the city together on engagement sessions and create beautiful images for sweet couples on their wedding day!  We would be an inseparable match!

Last week my dreams came true when my very own 5D Mark III arrived on my doorstep!   In complete excitement, I flung open the front door, quickly signed for it, and brought it inside to officially get acquainted!  I had made the decision to purchase it earlier that week so I would have it for all of my gorgeous couples this fall!  After spending a few days getting to know my new camera, I was able to use it to capture Kris and Tara’s wedding last weekend!  The 5D Mark III performed better than I could have even expected!  The colors were warmer, brighter, and crisper than on my 5D Mark II.  Having the 61-point focal system felt amazing and the increased ISO range came in handy at the reception!  I was able to shoot at 6400 with almost no noise, something that was a little tough with the Mark II.  Don’t get me wrong, I still love them BOTH and plan on breaking them out together at certain points durning the wedding day…I have just met my dream guy.  For all you couples in love out there, you know what I mean. 😉
