Amy and Phil were married in early August on the most perfect day!  This sweet couple shared their first look among a gorgeous garden of wild flowers before strolling through the grape vines at Red Maple Vineyard. Their ceremony overlooking the Hudson Valley had the most breathtaking views and the true love and emotion between Amy and Phil could be felt by all of their guests. Their reception took place in an open air tent covered in twinkle lights and their cookie and milk bar made for a delicious midnight treat! One of my favorite moments of the evening was when Amy and her Stand Up to Cancer friends put on a choreographed dance that had guests jumping to their feet to join them! Amy’s brother even joined the band to sing one of the last songs of the night! It was a great way to end an amazing party, and I feel so lucky to have been a part of this beautiful wedding day!  Relive all of the loveliness below.

Last Friday I had the pleasure of capturing Jamie and Damien’s Hoboken engagement photos!  The sun was shining and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful spring day.  We started out by strolling along Pier A, and then made our way over to the cobblestone streets.  After exploring Washington Street, we stopped to admire an adorable bulldog along a row of brownstones, and then ended our session at the old train station!  Jamie and Damien continued the fun with a celebratory drink in the sunshine.  Cheers!  Three years ago, Jamie and Damien shared their first date in Hoboken, and I have a feeling this is a place they will share many more.  Enjoy a few of my favorite photos from our time together below!

Oh how I love this couple and their hearts for Jesus!  We were nearing the end of Lian and Paul’s Brooklyn engagement session when Lian asked me how I started my photography business.  As I begin to explain how the book my pastor wrote and encouragement from my life group friends inspired the launch of Amy Rizzuto Photography, and huge smile spread across her face.  “We are Christian too!” she exclaimed.  Needless to say, the rest of our session was spent talking about our awesome Heavenly Father and how our businesses would not be where they are today without Him.  Lian and Paul are actually in the wedding industry as well!  Lian is an incredible make-up artist and Paul is an awesome photographer in the Philippines.  It was truly an honor to have to opportunity to work with these fellow creatives and I can’t wait to share my favorites from our time together below!

Alyssa and Tyler were married on one of those perfect summer days in mid August. Alyssa’s mom and grandmother helped her into her incredible Vera Wang gown before gathering around with all of her bridesmaids to lift t marriage up in prayer.  This sweet couple shared their first look under a never ending row of trees as the light from the sun danced around them. The only thing brighter was Alyssa’s smile as Tyler wiped happy tears from his eyes. The moment was so romantic and one of my favorites of the day!  Their ceremony was centered around their love for their Heavenly Father and one another and it was truly so special. Guests enjoyed watching the sun set over the lake during cocktail hour at the Indian Trail Club before heading inside for dinner, dancing, and some delicious macaroons for dessert. Thank you Alyssa and Tyler for giving me the opportunity to be a part of your gorgeous wedding and to Kristy and Allison for helping me capture it!  Enjoy a few of my favorite memories below.

I remember being overjoyed and completely flattered when Andi reached out to me to capture photos of her and Joey in New York City!  Andi is a fabulous photographer based in Tulsa, Oklahoma and I wanted to give her images she and Joey would treasure forever.  A couple of days before our session, Joey actually got down on one knee and proposed to Andi after a late night carriage ride in Central Park!  After adventuring up to the Top of the Rock for some incredible views of the city, this sweet couple headed back to the same spot in Central Park where Joey asked Andi to marry him!  Check out some of my favorite moments from their romantic session below.
