AHHHHHHH!!!!!  I can’t believe the day is finally here!  My new website is LIVE and I am over the moon excited!  Let me back up a little…

This past week I have been working with Go Live Hq to launch my brand new Showit 5 site.  They basically design and launch your website in one week flat!  Pretty amazing…I know.  I built my first website myself from a Promise Tangeman template five years ago, and while I loved it, it was time for a change.  I wanted my new site to feel fresh, fun, and romantic, while incorporating my signature pop of red.  Most importantly, I wanted it to be mobile friendly with a simple user experience.  My designer Kayla completely exceeded my expectations!  Not only was she always quick to respond, she listened to my ideas and then used her creativity to execute them in a much cooler way.  She truly did an amazing job and I am so so grateful.  Without further ado, I am so excited to invite you to view the new www.amyrizzutophotography.com.

Emma and Gordon were married on a gorgeous August day in NYC.  After their intimate first look in the library at the Nomad Hotel, Emma and Gordon headed up to the Conservatory Gardens for a little romantic portrait time!  This hidden gem is one of my favorite spots in the city, filled with butterflies, tree lined paths, and beautiful gardens.  Afterwards, Emma and Gordon strolled through Central Park, soaking in the summer sun and congratulatory cheers from people passing by.  Their ceremony took place on the rooftop of Midtown Loft and Terrace, just as the sun was setting over the buildings on the west side.  Emma and Gordon both wiped away happy tears as they exchanged their hand written vows in front of their closest family and friends.  This sweet couple ended the evening by dancing cheek to cheek under the glow of the Empire State Building and the twinkle lights strung above.  A huge thank you to Emma and Gordon for allowing me into your lives to photograph your incredible wedding and to Caroline for helping me capture it!  Enjoy reliving a few of my favorite moments from Emma and Gordon’s Midtown Loft and Terrace wedding below!

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing Gabbi and Kevin’s NYC engagement session!  We met at the iconic clock in Grand Central and wandered among the gorgeous arches and in and out of the busy people quickly passing by.  I just love the history and beautiful architecture of this train station!  Afterwards, we walked over to the New York Public Library and Bryant Park!  Gabbi and Kevin played a little chess before cozying up at the Southwest Porch for a celebratory drink.  This sweet couple is tying the knot in June and I couldn’t be more excited!  In the meantime, enjoy a few of my favorites from Gabbi and Kevin’s Bryant Park engagement session below.

I don’t remember the last time I met a women who inspired me like Erin.  Strong, spirited, and honest, Erin will always tell you like it is.  Dan is her perfect compliment.  A little quieter and very kind, Dan is Erin’s rock.  This couple has grown together over the past three years, forming a solid foundation built on support and love.

This Saturday, family and friends gathered around Erin and Dan at the Molly Pitcher Inn to celebrate the marriage of these two incredible people.  After receiving heartbreaking news about her battle with cancer, Erin pulled together this beautiful celebration in only three days!  Tears were shed during the ceremony, and cheers filled the room as Dan twirled and dipped Erin at the end of their first dance.  There wasn’t a dry eye in the room as Erin shared a dance with her father and then her mother. The day was filled with so much emotion as Erin and Dan took the first steps on their journey as husband and wife and it was a true honor to be there to capture it. Kristin and Bobby were married on a gorgeous spring day at the Loeb Boathouse in Central Park!  Magnolia trees and cherry blossoms were just starting to bloom, creating pretty pops of pastels around the lake and Bethesda Terrace.  Kristin and her bridesmaids spent the morning getting ready in the Carlyle Hotel.  Laughter filled the room as her sister popped a bottle of champagne. Oohs and ahhs were audible as Kristin slipped into her incredible Pronovias gown.  Bobby and his groomsmen took celebratory shots at the Surrey Hotel before heading to St. Ignatius Church for the ceremony.  A huge smile spread across Bobby’s face as he watched his beautiful bride make her way down the aisle.  Their ceremony was truly special and one of my favorite moments of the entire day!

After capturing some classic portraits at the Caryle Hotel and in Central Park, Kristin and Bobby joined their guests at the Boathouse to enjoy good conversation, a delicious raw bar, and sweet signature cocktails. The band welcomed guests into a reception room filled with spring tulips and gorgeous white cherry blossoms for a night full of dancing and fun! A heartfelt THANK YOU to Kristin and Bobby for bringing me along to photograph such an amazing day and to Mekina and Rosemary for helping me capture it!  Enjoy reliving all of the unforgettable memories made below!
