When two souls are so perfectly matched like Pamela and Brandon’s, everyday feels like a real life fairytale. This happy couple was married at Brandon’s grandparents’ private estate in Greenwich, CT, in almost the exact spot they got engaged one year before!

As Pamela’s mother helped her into her gorgeous lace and tulle Monique Lhuillier wedding dress, her bridesmaids clinked mimosa glasses in a toast to their beautiful friend. Hidden under her dress were two sweet touches – a soft pair of ballet-inspired Repetto flats, and a piece of her grandmother’s wedding dress sewn into her own gown.

Brandon waited on the grounds of his family’s estate in anticipation of his Pamela’s arrival for their first look, a little nervous but mostly excited. The moment his eyes met hers, pure joy spread across Brandon’s face as he gave her the biggest hug. They walked the estate hand-in-hand, enjoying a few quiet moments together, surrounded by the astounding art and greenery of the grounds.

The entire day felt completely personal as 100 of their closest family and friends made their way to the outdoor ceremony to celebrate. One of the best parts of the day was when Pamela and Brandon exchanged their personal vows.  Neither knew what the other was going to say, and watching Brandon get emotional as he promised to spend forever loving Pamela brought tears to my eyes!

Every little detail felt like a dream. Pamela’s love for flowers truly showed as they were EVERYWHERE!  Petals floated in the pool, single blooms adorned the escort cards, and pink blossoms seemed to spill out of the signature drinks. Friends and family celebrated the newly married couple on the dance floor with an eclectic mix of fun Spanish music, oldies, and hits. Guests were sent home with Dough Donuts, a sweet end to a simply perfect day.

I’m so excited to share some of my favorite moments from this gorgeous wedding below! Thank you for including me in your special day, Pamela and Brandon!  Your private estate wedding felt like a real life fairytale and I am so happy for you both!

The rain dotted the windows of the Essex House, making the view of Central Park across the street look almost like a painting. Despite the weather, laughter rang out as Natasha and her bridesmaids popped champagne, listened to a pretty awesome wedding mix, and slipped into their gorgeous gowns!  The day had finally arrived for Natasha to marry John and she was SO excited!  These two love birds met through a mutual friend who lived in the same building during their time in New York and they hit it off right away!

John had also been looking forward to this day for a long time.  As he was watching his beautiful bride walk down the aisle at St. Ignatius church, a huge smile spread across his face!  In front of their family and friends Natasha and John promised to spend their lives loving and supporting one another.  Afterwards, they headed to Central Park for a few fun and romantic portraits in the place where they got engaged!  As we arrived, the clouds parted and the skies cleared!  The rain earlier in the day had left the park almost entirely empty and it felt like we had the place to ourselves.  It was magical!

The rest of the evening went by in one amazing blur as Natasha and John danced the night away, toasted to a long and happy marriage, and indulged in delicious wedding cake and Momofuku cookies!  It was an honor to be a part of such an amazing celebration and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorite images below.  Congratulations again Natasha and John!  Your Central Park Boathouse wedding was truly a dream and I am so happy for you both.

Shin + Minami met when they were in the same class in elementary school and have been together for over 16 years!  Their love for each other was apparent in so many small ways. The sweet glances back and forth.  The way Shin carried Minami’s dress around the city without being asked.  The easy laughter between them (that was totally contagious).  It was a true joy to capture their gorgeous wedding portraits on the Brooklyn Bridge, at Grand Central, and on the Top of the Rock.  Enjoy reliving a few of my favorite moments from our time together below!

Spring is officially here and I am so excited to be gearing up for an amazing 2017 wedding season! YAY!  Before moving forward, I wanted to look back on a few of my favorite behind the scenes photos from 2016. Grab a cup of coffee and take a peek into how I go about capturing all the happy tears, sweet first looks, and carefree spins on the dance floor!

I will literally do ANYTHING to get the best shot…even if it means wading into a running fountain!

One of the perks to photographing so many weddings…you learn how to put on a veil!  I love being able to help out my brides if they need it on their wedding day.

Sometimes the best angles are up high…other times they are on the floor!

If a car comes, the couple will tell me right?!

Beth and Pete were married under the Brooklyn Bridge.  It was so romantic!

One of my favorite first looks!  There was a rainbow and everything!!!

While I am with the bride for most of the getting ready, I love taking time out of the day to also focus on the groom!

My second shooters look so cool, they often get photo bombed!  Thanks for being amazing Rosemary!

Large wedding parties are my jam.  The more, the merrier!

Maybe if I quickly jump into the water, Rosemary will be able to get a romantic shot of Lia and Anthony in the gondola!  #worthit

Showing off a few of my favorites to this gorgeous bride!

Hey ya’ll!  Over here please!!! 🙂

Family portraits with the prettiest reflective light!

Doing a little dress fluffing to make sure these gorgeous sunset portraits are PERFECT!

If possible, I love capturing iPhone photos of my favorite pose for instant sneak peeks!

It doesn’t get much more romantic than barefoot sunset portraits on the beach!

Double duty for Stephanie and Alex’s wedding as bridesmaid and photographer!

Just ONE MORE photo…I promise. 🙂

The 70-200mm is my go-to for being discrete during the ceremony!

Veil fluffing time!

Getting a little silly with the bridal party!

When the day allows for it, sunset portraits are my favorite!

RECEPTION TIME!!!

Seeing and catching up with past couples makes me so happy…especially when they have cute bumps to gush over!

Sneaky sneaky!!!  Always looking to get a little extra height for epic dance floor photos!

Dance floor twirling!

Photo booths are the best…especially with best friends and rockstar second shooters like Mekina Saylor and handsome hubbies!

Attack of the uncles!  I love how Cristin is just laughing in the background. 🙂

When the bride and groom and half of their wedding party feels like family.

Sparkler exit conducting and air kiss practicing for the perfect “end of the night” shot!

To all of my sweet couples, THANK YOU for welcoming me into your hearts and for treating me like family on such a special day in your lives.  Capturing the beginning of your journey together is an honor and a privilege.  You have given me the opportunity to live out my dream, and for that I am forever grateful!  I LOVE YOU ALL!
