Katie and Elvin have one of those love stories that puts a smile on your face.  After growing up in the same small town of Carteret, NJ, they ended up reconnecting by running into one another at a mutual friends party.   Elvin made Katie laugh, and Katie made Elvin’s heart beat faster with each one of her sweet smiles.  After a 5 1/2 year romance that seemed to pass in the blink of an eye, Elvin got down on one knee with Manhattan’s waterfront on his left, and the Empire State building shining brightly behind them on the right.  Katie happily agreed, excited to be marrying the man with whom she imagined spending all of her days.

Katie and Elvin are tying the knot TOMORROW at the Heldrich Hotel.  To get all of their friends and family excited for the big day, I thought I would share a few of my favorite photographs from their Central Park and West Village engagement session last fall.  Check out all the sweet moments below. 🙂

Most of the time when I am shooting in NYC, I am pulling out all the tricks to make sure my couples look like they are the only ones there.  However, I can’t help but love this intimate moment of Katie and Elvin with so many people strolling quickly by.

As the sun dipped below the horizon and the sky turned a dusky blue, Katie and Elvin shared one last kiss by the spot where they got engaged so many months before.

There are not enough words to explain how much I like Alise and Chad.  Not only are they filled with so much love and joy for one another, but they are on fire for God in a way that is contagious. When they asked me to capture their anniversary session in New York City, I couldn’t have been more excited. Alise and Chad have been married for three years and wanted to continue their tradition of a photo shoot to celebrate the occasion. We began with coffee on a TriBeCa rooftop before heading to Central Park to sit under the pretty pink cherry blossoms.  I hope you enjoy some of my favorite photographs from our time together below. 🙂

We began Alise and Chad’s anniversary session at the Sheraton in Tribeca.  The view was absolutely beautiful!

My favorite thing about the cherry blossoms is the way their pretty pink blooms fall in such a dreamy way with the wind.

They had been together for a year and a half when Tim lead Jill into that familiar restaurant.  Jill was excited to be revisiting Urban Table, the place she and Tim shared their first date.  Looking back, Jill couldn’t believe how quickly she and Tim had fallen in love.  Kind-hearted and incredibly funny, Tim was everything she had dreamed of and more.  Tim felt the same way about her.  Getting down on one knee, Tim asked Jill to marry him!  Completely overjoyed, Jill happily agreed. 🙂

A few weeks ago, I had the pleasure of capturing Jill and Tim’s engagement session in Red Bank, NJ.  This sweet couple will tie the knot there tomorrow, and I couldn’t be more excited for them!  An early congratulations Jill and Tim!  For now, enjoy a few of my favorite photos from their engagement session below.

It was a gorgeous spring day.  With pretty pink and yellow blooms dressing the grounds and a cloudless sky, the Congressional Country Club was as immaculate as ever for Lindsay and Woody’s wedding.  After an adorable first look (Lindsay and Woody were literally jumping for joy with one another) and a few photos with their bridal party on the lawn, this sweet couple tied the knot in front of all of their family and friends.  Their ceremony was heartfelt with personal vows and it was easy to see that Lindsay and Woody would love and support each other in the many years to come.  It was truly an honor to be a part of this incredible wedding, and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorite images below. 🙂
