It’s FRIDAY!!! WOHOO! I hope you all have wonderful plans for a relaxing weekend. Right now I am blogging to you from East Hampton, NY and I am SO happy. This is seriously one of the places in the world I feel most like myself and most at home.
With that thought in mind, I am going to use today’s post to tell you a little more about me! An important piece of advice I give my clients is to not only hire a photographer, but a photographer who could be a friend! Chances are, you will be spending more time with your photographer than your significant other on your wedding day. Choosing a person you feel comfortable with and LOVE to be around will make your wedding day that much more enjoyable. Not only that, but the best pictures are captured when you are able to be natural and act like yourself in front of the camera. A photographer who is a friend can help you achieve this relaxed look.
To attract brides with similar interests, I like to put A LOT of myself out on the internet. I figure, the more you know, the better! Today, I am going to share 10 things I think you should know about me! Who knows, maybe we will have something in common 🙂
1. I LOVE chocolate. It is actually more like an obsession. I eat it everyday.
2. I got married to the love of my life Matt Rizzuto October 16, 2010, almost two years ago. I guess you can say we are still newly weds. Our favorite things to do together on a daily basis are play Monopoly, grill jalapeno burgers, and watch Friends. Our least favorite thing to do is the dishes.
3. My best friend is my younger sister Ali. Right now she is attending law school in Charlotte, NC and I miss her so much!
4. I was born in Tennessee but I lived overseas in high school! I was in Singapore for one year and Tokyo, Japan for two years. If I had the opportunity, I would go back in a heartbeat.
5. I am a Christian and have been ever since I was 7 years old. My relationship with my heavenly Father is filled with constant communication and love.
6. Basically I am a happy person! It is rare you will catch me without a smile on my face.
7. I still talk to my parents everyday. Family is important to me and I am blessed to have one that is so supportive!
8. Tennis has always been a huge part of my life. After years of practice, I was able to earn a scholarship to play Division I at Gardner-Webb University.
9. I don’t think I will ever enjoy cooking, much to my husband’s dismay. I believe it goes back to not wanting to do the dishes.
10. I think I have the greatest job in the world. Photographing couples on their wedding day is a huge honor and is something I hope I will be doing for many years to come.
I would LOVE to hear more about you! Feel free to share one, two, or TEN fun facts in the comment box below. HAPPY FRIDAY!
