I have lost count of the number of times I have had the pleasure of photographing my beautiful sister Ali and her husband Nathan!  These high school sweethearts have been together for over ten years and are expecting their first baby in June!  While on vacation in Hawaii this Christmas, we spent one afternoon capturing a few romantic images of them on a private beach along the North Shore.  Thank you for such a fun afternoon Ali and Nathan and for always being willing to get in front of my camera.  What a special time in your lives before the birth of your son.  I love you both!

Olivia and Danny met almost seven years ago during their first year of college!  Mutual friends introduced them, and they hit it off right away.  This past spring, Olivia came home to find roses, candles, champagne, and Danny waiting with a gorgeous ring!  Olivia was overjoyed, and happily agreed to spend her life with her best friend!  Danny took Olivia to dinner to celebrate, and when they returned home, all of Olivia’s close friends were there to congratulate them!  It really was a perfect evening, one this sweet couple will remember for years to come.

A few weeks ago I had the pleasure of capturing Emily and Steven’s engagement photos at Sands Point Preserve on the north shore of Long Island!  This sweet couple has enjoyed some of the most beautiful summers together here, making it the perfect place to capture such a special time in their lives.  We spent the afternoon strolling along the beach and taking in the gorgeous sunset.  As the sky turned a dusky blue, Emily and Steven took a walk through the garden together.  It was so romantic and made for a really lovely end to such an incredible day!  Enjoy some of my favorites moments from our time together below!

Does it get any dreamier than a field of golden sunflowers, champagne by the lake, and a stroll along the Erie Canal?  Amanda and Andrew’s engagement session in Rochester, NY was so special as I got to see where this sweet couple fell in love!  Andrew recalls really noticing Amanda for the first time at a party they were both attending while in medical school.  “Not only did Amanda have the most amazing smile, she could hold a conversation.  I watched her make her way around the room, realizing she was as smart as she was beautiful.”  Their relationship grew during many hours of studying at the library, shared ice cream along the Erie Canal, and relaxing weekends at the lake.  I loved revisiting these locations during their Rochester engagement session, and I can’t wait to share a few of my favorite moments below!

Whitney and Andy are two of the sweetest people and undoubtedly crazy about one another!  They lived in the same town growing up and were drawn to each other, even as kids.  “Andy is the first boy I kissed”, Whitney explained, “and I am so excited he gets to be my last!”  I had the pleasure of capturing their Grand Central engagement photos last weekend and I am so excited to share more of my favorites!  Thank you again Whitney and Andy for such a wonderful afternoon.  I had a blast getting to know you both and celebrating your happy engagement!
