IGNITE : A LITTE SPARK FOR YOUR NEW BUSINESS

2014-10-24_0002

SPARK days have been a favorite of mine for a long time.  Back in 2012 over lunch with Caroline Frost and Cassi Claire, Caroline expressed her desire to create a group for women photographers in the NYC area that meets weekly to discuss faith and photography.  Being women who love Jesus and photography (respectively of course), Cassi and I couldn’t wait to jump on board!  SPARK was born, and the experience of being involved with this incredible group has been life changing.

This fall, we were looking for a way to serve and give back to our community.  We came up with the idea of hosting a FREE workshop for new photographers,  hoping to share what has been successful for us over the past four years to IGNITE a little “spark” in new photography businesses in the area.   IGNITE is a free workshop for new photographers taking place in Central Park on November 16th from 1:30pm-4:30pm and includes topics like posing, composition, marketing, and tips for exposure and lighting.  We will also have a model for some hands on practice!  The workshop will be led by Caroline Frost, Amy Rizzuto and Cassi Claire with Leandra Brown, Mekina Saylor, Kristy Timms, Bethany Michaela, and Cassady Adams, a few of the many fabulous women who are a part of NYC SPARK.  Space is limited, so if you are interested, make sure to apply here by November 5th: http://www.jotform.us/CassiClaire/ignite2014.
