They were walking across the street in front of Grand Central when their eyes met.  Out of all the crosswalks in New York City, what are the odds that Megan and Kris would both be strolling across the same street at the same time?  Megan recognized Kris first, calling out to him when she realized they went to school together! They both were attending Adelphi University and were surprised and excited to see a familiar face in such a large city.  Megan and Kris spent the rest of the evening together and soon, they were inseparable.

Two year later, Kris knew without a doubt that he wanted to be with Megan forever!  He sent her on a scavenger hunt with her best friend around the city, leaving clues at each location that led to the next.  Megan started at Grand Central where they met, then made her way up to Central Park for a horse drawn carriage ride, home to change into a pretty dress, and then out to a beachside restaurant in Long Island where Kris was waiting for her in a room filled with candles and roses.  Kris got down on one knee and asked Megan to be his wife, causing tears of happiness and joy to spill down her face before she nodded yes!  They are engaged to be married next December and couldn’t be more excited!

This is the crosswalk where Megan and Kris first spotted each other.  Walking across it brought back many amazing memories!

I am blessed with couples who are willing to try anything for a great photograph!  Megan and Kris braved the endless line of taxi’s for this classic view of Grand Central Station.

After Grand Central, we headed up to Central Park for a few more sweet photographs.

Megan and Kris are currently living and working in Minneapolis.  They are planning on tying the knot at the same venue where they got engaged!
